Three In Contention for Young Athlete of the Year Prize

England footballer Michelle Agyemang, darts sensation Luke Littler and cricketer Davina Perrin have been shortlisted for the upcoming Young Athlete of the Year award.
These three athletes have been celebrated for their remarkable achievements over the last year.
Agyemang was instrumental as the Lionesses win Euro 2025, Littler claimed the world title for the first time, and Perrin surged to prominence with a historic innings.
Littler was the recipient in 2024 after his breakthrough year.
The finalists were announced live on a national radio breakfast show.
The champion will be announced during a live broadcast on the Sports Personality of the Year show on the 18th of December.
The show will be televised from 19:00 GMT.

Only 90 days after her international debut, Agyemang played a dramatic and decisive role in England's run to Euro 2025 glory.
She came off the bench to score vital last-gasp goals in both the knockout stage games.
Her incredible contributions led to her being named Young Player of the Tournament.
Afterwards, she was awarded the prestigious Golden Girl honour for the top young European talent.
She was also shortlisted for the Kopa Trophy for the global standout among U21 women.
Agyemang, who has been at Brighton in a temporary move from Arsenal, ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament in October.
"To be named a finalist for Young Sports Personality of the Year is an honour," said Agyemang. "I'm grateful to God and I'm appreciative of the support I've received from my inner circle and supporters."
Littler's Profile

Littler's 2025 began in incredible form as - at just 17 years old - he became the youngest darts world champion in history.
He secured a comprehensive triumph over Michael van Gerwen in the final.
His follow-up triumph at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth competitor to complete the prestigious three major tournament wins.
He didn't stop there - his triumph in November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he reached world number one for the first time.
At 18, he is the most youthful player to do so, shattering the previous record.
"Earning a spot on the shortlist for the honour once more is a huge privilege," stated Littler. "My victory in 2024 was a proud moment for me and I've had another incredible 12 months. I want to continue promoting darts."
Perrin's Profile

Perrin is one of English cricket's top prospects and burst into the spotlight with an extraordinary and record-breaking innings in August.
Her sublime 42-ball century in The Hundred is the speediest century from an England batswoman in T20s.
It also stands as the joint third-fastest women's T20 century in a major league or full member T20 international.
Perrin ended up as runner-up in the run-scoring charts and was named the young player of the year by the PCA.
